Even if you're not holistic or overly-cautious about the foods you eat - most people try to avoid certain things or ingredients.  Maybe one of those daytime talk shows told you that a certain food isn't good for your metabolism or maybe you've read in a health-related article that something isn't the best thing for your body.  It's difficult to know who and what to believe these days.

But what if you could see what the experts in their fields chose to avoid in their own diets and at their families dinner table?

A recent story spotlights these foods (along with specifics of the individuals names and the respective fields that they come from).  It makes for interesting reading and even if you're not the type of person who worries about the ingredients or chemicals in the foods.

One item that I guess surprised me was canned tomatoes.  I guess I would still take a good 28-ounce can of whole peeled tomatoes over a commercially-processed jar of spaghetti sauce any day.

What do you think?
