Have you ever heard of Grape Salad?  Does it play a large part of your families Thanksgiving meal?  Apparently the New York Times thinks so!

In an article called The United States of Thanksgiving, the NYT lists what they believe are the quintessential side dishes for the November holiday from every state.  George gets Pecan Pie.  Louisiana is represented by Shrimp-Stuffed Mirlitons.  Maine has a Lobster Mac and Cheese.  And Minnesota - has Grape Salad.

Social media is buzzing with a lot of Minnesotans asking a very valid question:  What IS Grape Salad and why is it representing us?

In case you were wondering:  Wisconsin's claim to fame is apparently Wild Rice with Mushrooms.  The "Foodie" in me would more closely match Wild Rice to Minnesota, but hey - what do I know?!
