What Does A Landfill Look Like? Tour The City Of Superior’s Dump On October 24 And 25

Here's your chance to get up close and personal with where your garbage goes!

Twin Ports garbage (Duluth and Superior) largely ends up at the landfill on Moccasin Mike Road that is owned and operated by the City of Superior.  Officials are giving you the chance to see what the landfill looks like and how it operates on Friday and Saturday, October 24 and 25th with a tour.

Due to limited parking at the landfill please meet at Silverwood Pet Care at 77 Moccasin Mike Road and you will be shuttled over in a city vehicle. On the tour you will learn about the landfill history, where the waste comes from, what's in it and what shouldn't be in it, and more about this highest landmark in Superior.
