It's been a long winter for public works crews dealing with water issues.  A scheduled water main repair will occur on Wednesday, February 11.  City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities staff will repair a leak at west 3rd street and 14th Avenue west between 11AM and 7PM.  This work will affect one of the two ten-inch mains that serve the Lincoln Park and Piedmont neighborhoods.

Residents and businesses in lower Piedmont and upper Lincoln Park may experience low water pressure or periodic outages as the City will not be able to provide enough water through one pipe to adequately serve the impacted area. The area that will be effected during the repair period is below 16th Street between 29th Avenue west and 22nd Avenue west. Those located higher up the hill may experience the most disruption and intermittent water outages.

The city is working to notify the residents in the impacted area.
