If you're a Springsteen fan, you probably miss "The Big Man" as much as I. As my mind drifts back to the time I first heard of Clarence Clemons death, I can recall my wondering how Bruce would ever find  a sax-man capable enough to even try and fill the big man's shoes. To me personally, the task seemed impossible. I'm sure Bruce had the same feeling from time to time.

Enter Jake Clemons, an up and coming sax player with a small following. The fact that Clarence was his Uncle in no way guaranteed that he would even be in the running, should Bruce decide to have another sax player in the E Street band. To be honest, as I heard rumors about Jake, I had my doubts as to whether he could fill the bill, however I knew that Bruce would base his decision solely on Jake's ability to help the band, and nothing else.

Over the past few months, I've seen bit and pieces in the papers about his ability, and they we're mostly positive. I think what nailed it for me was the video I'm sharing with you. Jake nails the solo on a song that Clarence played many times. I no longer have any doubts.
