Was The World Cup Trophy Stolen?

As the World Cup comes to an end I have a confession: I don't know the fist thing about the event, the sport, or who's taking part in the festivities. I'm not a sports fan so events like this that have (seemingly) everyone cheering and yelling always leave me wondering what the hype is all about.

But I did stumble across something World Cup-related that did peak my curiosity; The trophy (or trophies - as it would be) for the World Cup has a sorted-history that involves theft, replicas, the Nazis, and deception.
