It's been a rough winter. We have had some cold temps and some not so cold temps. It has made it easy to visit Bentleyville this past holiday season, but hard to skate. There have been many issued statements from Duluth telling people not to use the ice rink.

Well now, by way of a press release the CIty of Duluth is notifying the public that the ice rink at Bayfront Festival Park is now open and available for public use. The warmer weather over the past few days caused melting which made the rink unusable. The public can always take advantage of other winter recreational equipment that is available for use at no charge during the regular operating hours of the Bayfront Family Center:

Here is the schedule released on duluthmn.gov, Monday-Friday (4-8 PM) Saturday (1-8 PM) and Sunday (1-5 PM). On Friday nights, there is free hot chocolate and a bonfire to warm people up.
