Ever think of going into the marine or aquatics field? Being a volunteer can get you close to the action. Right now,  the Lake Superior Marine Museum is looking for volunteers for the month of March. Ask questions, and work with those who are in the business.

The Lake Superior Marine Museum Association along with the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center will host its annual Spring Cleaning Day on Wednesday, March 15 at the Visitor Center at 600 South Lake Avenue in historic Canal Park in Duluth, MN and last from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.. It will involve a little elbow grease but will also promise to be a learning experience.

Yes, there will be some dusting, polishing, checking electronics, updating displays and exhibits. You will also assist Park Rangers with some projects.

Volunteers will be needed at the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. You will also be fed lunch courtesy of Grandma’s Sports Garden.
