For the next few weeks, drivers on Superior Street can expect some lane closures and detours as city crews perform work on sanitary sewer lines in the area.

According to the City of Duluth, work gets underway today (March 7) and is expected to last until March 25.  The work will primarily take place between 7th Avenue West and 4th Avenue West along Superior Street.

Crews have scheduled their work to occur during so-called "off peak hours" (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM) to maintain the least amount of inconvenience.
