A nail biter for a first game. UMD had to use overtime to beat an Ohio State team that came back from a 2-0 deficit Friday to get to the game that they wanted to play. Boston University and Boston College have been responsible for eliminating UMD from the frozen four the past 3 years, UMD wanted revenge, and they got it.

Saturday, UMD met Boston University and wanted to give them a taste of their own medicine. All the guys on the Bulldogs men's hockey team said this year's team was different. They could be calm under pressure, and they proved it two nights in a row.

In almost the same exact shot with a different person, UMD's Adam Johnson. Friday's game ended with a shot from a defenseman from the blue line. Saturday, Adam Johnson shot it from the blue line and it hit someone, then he skated in and wristed it into the net.

At the time I am writing this, UMD is waiting for their opponent.  Nice job guys!!!
