Tree Grows Around Discarded Bicycle

Boys don't like riding girls bikes, no matter what their age. — That's about as cool as going on a first date on a bus.  Don Puz was given a girl’s bike in 1954, after the death of his father. Townsfolk decided to raise some money and by Don a bike. Trouble was, it was a girls bike.

Don didn't want to be seen riding the bike, so he ditched it by a tree and told his mother he’d lost it. According to ABC News, she only found out the truth decades later, when someone discovered the bike swallowed by a tree, hanging five feet in the air. The tree was able to grow around the bike.
