A trailer for the micro budgeted movie “Artificial” has been released, and Duluth is the setting for the movie. The movie, which is directed by Lance Karasti, is shot in Duluth and iconic settings in the area like the Aerial Lift Bridge and the Split Bridge Lighthouse.

According to the director’s website, the official logline for the film is “A young photographer is recruited by a mysterious visionary to help design a program that will recognize beauty.”

The visuals looks awesome for this film, and it seems like the trailer captures some of the pure beauty that the area has to offer. Right off the bat on the trailer you see footage of the drawbridge in a cool fashion as a camera is tracking over the calm water of the Duluth Harbor.

According to Karasti’s website, the film should be in local film festivals this upcoming summer.
