Facebook has become omnipresent in the lives of most people.  A recent research study suggests that more than half of all Americans have a Facebook account and visit it on a daily basis.

If you're familiar with Facebook at all, you know that the bulk of information is presented to you in the form of a "News Feed" - a listing of recent posts by your friends based on an algorithm that takes into account the time and date of the post, how often you interact with the individual and whether or not you're interested in the information shown.  Facebook changes this algorithm often, creating new sorting techniques for the information you see - with the ultimate goal of making sure that the content is relevant to you.

But spend any amount of time on your News Feed and you're sure to start getting sick of some of the content you see.  Speaking generally - I think a lot of folks are sick of reading about their friends pyramid schemes (diet supplements, oils, candle, bags, clothing, etc.).  You will also see a lot of posts that are political in nature, posts that feature someones favorite recipe or even birthday wishes from long-lost friends that you haven't heard from in years (and won't hear from again - unless Facebook prompts them to send you well-wishes).  These are items that people all across the country are probably sick of seeing.

Closer to home, though - there are also things that Duluth-Superior residents are sick of seeing or reading about.  Click on the list below to see if any of these items show up in your Facebook News Feed.
