The 4th Of July is celebrated all over the country, what are the best displays that are driveable? Here's a small list I put together.

    White Bear Lake, MN

At 10pm the White Bear Lake display starts, shot out from the waters just beyond Memorial Beach on Lake Avenue and 11th Street. The Northern Lights Band begins playing at West Park and continues through the fireworks for added drama. If you own a boat, you’re golden! The best seat in the house is in a boat. There are rental places that would be happy to rent you a boat, but it is pricey.

    Blaine, MN

Mostly put on by the Blaine Jaycees, this is an off-the-beaten-path kind of celebration. They feature all the trappings of a good fourth of July weekend celebration, the beer garden, live music, carnival with food vendors, and parade; but, this Fourth of July celebration ends up at the National Sports Center for a huge fireworks display.

    Gordon/Solon Springs WI

Gordon's Good Neighbor Days kicks off the weekend with concerts, a bazaar, and a ball game at the field. The next day features a pancake day at the church, a Parade, duck race, and local crafters set up on the street, with fireworks showcased in the Mooney Ball Park. The festivities feature a 5K race, mud volleyball tourney, and more softball.

Solon Springs Northern Nights Festival, if you time it right you can see Gordon’s Display and hit the road (hwy 53) north and see Solon Springs. The Festival runs from the weekend to the 4th and features a street dance, beer garden, arts/crafts and food vendors, fishing contest, car show/swap meet and a Fourth of July Celebration with fireworks. St. Croix River

What's better than watching the Fourth of July fireworks than from the deck of a cruise ship on the St. Croix River. According to CBS Local WCCO, you can see the Hudson fireworks on Sunday July 3rd, with boarding at 7:30pm with the first cruise, which runs from 8 to 11 p.m., or look on the other side of the river for the Stillwater fireworks on MondayJuly 4th from the second cruise which runs from 8:00 to 11:45 p.m. You can choose the dinner and cruise option if you’d like to sit down to a meal on the water before the fireworks, or just enjoy the cruise (with hot dogs for sale) and the show.

    Duluth, MN

Why not add Duluth to the best? Built on a hill, so there’s a number of places to enjoy the fireworks. Duluth features the Fourthfest with the Mighty Thomas Shows Carnival, food, live music.. The Duluth Symphony orchestra plays on the bay and the Fireworks shoot over the Bay and a back drop of the Aeriel lift Bridge. If you get to a Duluth Huskies game you can watch fireworks after the game, then see both Duluth and Superior's show.
