Today’s Twentieth Annual Empty Bowl, A Win Win For Everybody

Just got back from serving soup at today's 20th Annual Empty Bowl. Kim Carr our Promotions and Event Director and I go each year, and we have a great time. We both enjoy talking to the people we serve, and everyone who attends has a good time picking out their bowl, and choosing their favorite soups.

The whole event is so well organized, everything flows freely, and the soup selection is great as well. Kim and I got to see all the bowls downstairs..Wow, what a great selection! I  asked several people who I served, how many bowls they had collected over the years. I think the lowest count was five. People really get into this event.

There's still time for you to get to the Depot, pick out your favorite bowl, and get some fantastic soup. Please remember, the proceeds go to feed people in need here in the Northland, courtesy of the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank. You'll be glad you came.
