After a snowstorm, it's all too common to see vehicles cruising the highways with their windows cleaned off but snow piled high on the roof of the vehicle. While some might think it's no big deal, it can be hazardous. The first possible danger is that of limiting the visibility of drivers behind you as snow blows off your car. While this is an issue, it pales in comparison to the other possible danger.

As snow melts and then re-freezes onto the roof of your vehicle, you then have a chunk of ice ready to be dislodged from your vehicle by wind as you drive down the highway. Then, things like what you see in this video can happen (or even worse). Take the time to sweep your car off the next time it snows. Yes, it can be a pain, but it will help keep the roads a safer place.
