'The Walking Dead' season 5 will reveal a first look with this coming weekend's "Dead White and Blue" AMC marathon, but the hungry masses needn't wait for a bit of fresh blood from our favorite horror-drama! Find out what has Daryl looking rougher than usual, who survived the finale, and what Lauren Cohan thinks won't make it to TV in two new behind-the-scenes previews of 'The Walking Dead' season 5!

Be wary of some light spoilers for 'The Walking Dead' seasons 4 and 5, but it seems the first behind-the-scenes preview hopefully confirms one of our lingering questions from season 4 finale "A," namely that Tyreese, Carol and Judith weren't on the menu for whatever Terminus was grilling up! Elsewhere, (increasingly bearded) series star Andrew Lincoln teased that the season 5 opener ranks among the most ambitious they've ever attempted, while Lauren Cohan added that some of the material they'd shot might not make it through TV standards.

As for what new trials the Ricktatorship will endure after escaping from the mysterious Terminus? Says Lincoln, "I think a lot of people are trying to work out where they belong in the group this season. It's very much a season about hierarchy." Hopefully Daryl still has a place within the hierarchy, considering Norman Reedus looks especially bruised and beaten up around the set!

Elsewhere, we know of ‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 that existing stars Christian Serratos (Rosita), Alanna Masterson (Tara) and Andrew J. West (Gareth) have all been upgraded to series regulars, while ‘The Wire‘ star Seth Gilliam joined in a role all but confirmed to be that of comic preacher Gabriel Stokes. The fifth season of AMC’s monster-drama is expected to pick up immediately after the events of season 4 finale “A,” and will eventually divulge the fates of missing characters Beth, Carol, Tyreese and Judith.

Well, what are you waiting for? Before the Comic-Con 2014 masses devour the cast and crew of 'The Walking Dead,' take a look at season 5 in the new preview videos above and below, and give us your predictions for AMC's monster hit in the comments!
