I think you'd pretty much agree that we all enjoy an evening out at our favorite restaurant once in awhile. There are concerns when we dine out that many folks are unaware of. Germs for one. Germs that can turn a wonderful night out into a nightmare days later. According to an article in Grandparents.com a study published in the Journal of Food Protection states more than 24,000 cases of food borne disease outbreaks reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention each year are associated with eating in restaurants or delicatessens. And those are just the cases that are reported. Here are some of the most common dangers, and things you should be aware of.

The places in a restaurant that has the most germs, the No. 1 offender was not the bathroom or anything in the kitchen. It was your chair seat. Around 70% of the seats tested had 17 different kinds of unhealthy bacteria on them including E. coli.
