Thanksgiving Holiday To Alter Superior’s Garbage Pickup Schedule

Along with Christmas, Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that seem to generate a fair amount of garbage;  with extra people in the house and a lot of food being prepared and eaten, those dumpsters fill up fast.  That's why it's important for you to know about the altered garbage pickup schedule that occurs in Superior due to the holiday.

If you live in Superior and your usual garbage day is Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, you're asked to have your cans out by 7:00 AM Monday. Thursday routes will see pickup on Tuesday - with a 7:00 AM start time as well and those with Friday pickups need to have their dumpster out by 7:00 AM Wednesday.

These are the altered dates provided by the city, but they do suggest that they may be a day or so off due to conflicts.
