Duluth's John Shuster Rink, Team USA Curling, won their tiebreaker game today against Korea. Korea started the week strong and Team USA did not. They fought through some games and became 5 and 2 and wound up with a tie for first, because of match outcomes they wound up playing Korea to have a chance to play on and qualify for the Olympics.

On the women's side Norway won the tie breaker game with Germany and were celebrating. Team USA had a strong showing when they needed it. According to the World Curling Federation Jeff Isaacson said: "We started the week very shaky and just made mistake after mistake. As the week’s gone on we’ve got a lot better handle with the rocks and ice. We’ve been facing at least five elimination games that we’ve had to win and we’re responding pretty well to it."

They now await the winner of the Germany and Czeck Republic game. Both teams beat Team USA earlier in the week.
