Target Confirms Rumored Teacher Prep Event

It appears that the rumors are true:  Target will be holding a Teacher Prep Event, July 15-21.  Stories started circulating about the impending sale on social media earlier this week, but news sources are now sharing confirmation that the department store gave via Twitter that confirms the upcoming event.

According to unofficial reports, the sale will allow teachers a 15% savings on select back-to-school supplies - including the following items:

• Writing supplies (pens, pencils, markers)
• Notebooks, folders, binders
• Art & craft supplies
• Storage and organizatin
• Disinfecting wipes
• Facial tissue
• Hand sanitizer
• Food storage bags

The Teacher Prep Event would provide much-needed assistance to educators as they get their classrooms ready for students this fall.  Often, teachers must purchase necessary school and classroom supplies out of their own pocket.
