Best known for his work as the original guitarist in the seminal progressive rock band <a href="http://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/yes/">Yes</a>, the musician was a trailblazer in the progressive rock movement of the '70s that also spawned <a href="http://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/genesis/">Genesis</a>, <a href="http://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/pink-floyd/">Pink Floyd</a>, <a href="http://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/emerson-lake-and-palmer/">ELP</a> and <a href="http://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/jethro-tull/">Jethro Tull</a>.
