Arrest Made In Cloquet Bank Robbery [Update][VIDEO]

Cloquet Police have made an arrest in the bank robbery  that occurred this past Monday.

Acting on tips that were provided by the public, officers arrested a 20-year old male  suspect.

Police executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 10 block of 13th Street in the City of Cloquet where evidence believed to be worn by the suspect during the burglary was recovered, along with monies believed to be belonging to Cornerstone State Bank.

The suspect is currently being held at the Carlton County Law Enforcement Center awaiting formal charges.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time. Cloquet police were assisted by Arrowhead Regional Corrections (probation) and the public.

Cloquet Police are asking for the public's help in apprehending the individuals involved with an early morning robbery at the Cornerstone State Bank.

Minnesota Speed Limits Raised On Highways Near Bemidji, Detroit Lakes, Willmar, and Mankato

Three state highways in western Minnesota are sporting new speed limit signs.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has raised the posted speed limit from 55 mph to 60 mph on the entire length of Highway 75, the majority of Highway 59 and 14 miles of Highway 7 in western Minnesota. The speed limit will be effective once the signs are posted. The Minnesota State Patrol will enforce the new speed limit.
