We've been upgraded. The winter storm watch that was issued yesterday has been upgraded by the National Weather Service to a winter storm warning - and the snowfall predictions have gone up too.
As computer models continue to refine what is going to happen with this weekend's weather, one thing is becoming more evident: Duluth, Superior, the Arrowhead, Iron Range, and Northwestern Wisconsin can expect a significant amount of snow this weekend.

Another storm has come and gone with nothing but underwhelming results in the Twin Ports. Officially we got less than an inch of snow through the overnight, but lots of wind.
Expect flurries throughout the day, with totals equaling less than an inch. Heavy winds will continue with gusts up to 45 mph.
