People hide passwords in safe places (or so they think.) Passwords to on-line sites, bank cards, bank accounts, and more. People feel their passwords are secure, and the hiding places are known only to them. Their wrong! According to Lifehacker, these are the top six password hiding places.
You would think that by now people would be utilizing stronger passwords to protect themselves from unsuspecting hackers. However, a recent study indicates that a lot of us are still as careless as ever and using the same weak, highly hackable passwords.
Password management app maker SplashData has released its list of the “worst computer passwords of 2011″ based around the most commonly stolen password data. It should come as no surprise that the password “password” topped the list of no-nos.
