Twinkies are here today, but for how long? Hostess, which has made the Twinkie since 1933,  is facing a labor strike at 23 of its 36 baking plants and is considering to “permanently close certain locations due to our inability to resume full-scale production,”

Hostess - the maker of such sweet-treats as Twinkies - is headed towards bankruptcy again.  This time, the forecast for recovery isn't so good. Hostess Brands, the maker of Twinkies and Wonder Bread, filed today for bankruptcy protection and blamed at least part of its difficulties on outmoded union agreements and work rules...
