Contrary to earlier reports, motorists will NOT see lane closures as the road construction project on Highway 61-London Road near the Lester River Bridge commence.
September 25, 2012 Road work to repair the Lester River Bridge on London Road-Highway 61 are set to begin tomorrow.
August 7, 2012 Motorists that use southbound Highway 61 into Duluth via London Road will have to use an alternate route or detour starting Wednesday August 8th.
MnDOT is alerting motorists that flood-related culvert work will start on that section of road - a project that is expected to last into late August
