We salute all veterans and you all should absolutely take advantage of as many freebies and discounts as you can on Veterans Day!

Children who are in the 4th grade (or home school equivalent) for the 2019-2020 school year need to know that those students are eligible for a free national park pass.

The Veteran's Day holiday was established in 1919 to honor everyone who served in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces;  Designed to coincide with Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, its origins celebrate the end of World War I.

Okay, so the "paperless office" that everyone touted in the 1980's never came to be;  In fact, American workplaces use more paper today than before the advent of the personal computer.  So it should come as no surprise that there are ways you can save money by printing items off on your computer.

One good result of the forever-failing economy:  Even-cheaper eats at your favorite fast food restaurant. It's not because the fast-food behemoths want to go so low. It's because they have to. After some improvement late last year and earlier this year, the $236 billion fast-food industry — with the notable exception of McDonald's — is mostly heading south, again.

Think of all the services that don’t exist anymore. Remember someone would clean your windshield and gas up your car for free. Now, IF it’s offered it’s costly. Making money has become far more important than giving good customer service. How about things we buy now or have to pay for that were free.
