Drivers who use the Bong Bridge will want to be alert to a ramp closure on Monday, May 23. Crews with the Minnesota Department of Transportation will close the ramp from southbound I-35 to southbound Highway 2/Bong Bridge for a routine inspection.
The Duluth Police department is alerting Northlanders to be cautious of notifications they get on their smartphone in regards to their bank account(s). Scammers are targeting would-be victims with a Wells Fargo account alert; Users who receive the notification are asked to follow a link. The link leaves the user open to malware which could be used to gain access or control of your financial accounts.
The Hermantown Police are asking for help; 13-year old Kylen Grand has been reported as a runaway after she didn't return home. If you know of her whereabouts, you're asked to contact the police by calling 911.
