Parts of Superior and Douglas County will be treated by aerial spraying to slow the spread of the Gypsy Moth.  The Gypsy Moth is an invasive, leaf-eating insect than can feed on most of the types of trees and shrubs that are found in North America.

Victims of the June flood will be in the spotlight on Saturday as Tailgate to Recovery happens in the "green space" between WITC and the University of Wisconsin-Superior's Marcovich Wellness Center.  A group of Superior Senior High School students have chosen to help their friends and neighbors with their Senior Project;  In conjunction with the City of Superior, the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way - they've organized this benefit for Saturday, October 13th.
