The Little River Band Rocked the Clyde on Thursday, I took some pictures while they were playing and before when I was able to take a few people backstage. I just want to say thanks to Twin Ports Night Life, they are always good to us and last night was no different. I also want to thank Little River Band, and Don't Panic. They were both true professionals, with a great sense of humor.

Here is show #4, and we are talking burgers, for two reasons, Farley's Family Restaurant put their fabulous everything burger in front of us and so we were hungry, and we haven't shared a good burger recipe yet. Matt gets a little long winded, but who cares he's talking about food, and that's how this whole thing started. Matt and I talk about food all the time, so why not make a show out of it. R

With anything new you have to work out the kinks, but here it is, our first submission. Matt and I have done some appearances and live broadcasts together, 10 minutes in to the thing and we are already talking food, and how we cook it. So, I thought we would do a show on food.

Ok, I have been challenged by about 15 or more people, so I waited until it died down before I did mine, and I donated to ALS. So, here is me and my family doing the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS.

I have a great tattoo that I love, it's of my favorite band, Van Halen. I ran into a girl who had tats of "Nightmare Before Christmas". I love tattoos and wanted to share people who are proud of theirs. So, in the second part of "Chris Allen's My Life Series" I am asking for your tats...

This is something I have seen take off online. More and more people are taking pictures of their legs. When they are on vacation, when they are relaxing, when they are enjoying themselves. The cool part about the pics, it makes you feel like you are a part of it because you see it from their perspective.

I know a lot of people brag about their kids like their kids are the best, well, mine are. (Pause for laughter) I want to recognize them both for the achievement, but most of all I would like to make a point that they got.

I was at a friend's house the other night and I had to ....eh hum, do my business, if you know what I mean. So I sat and read the latest copy of Cosmo and found out I am a nice guy and know my accessories well. I also liked a dress that Anne Hathaway picked out, but that's beside the point.

Three years ago, we had a problem we had to solve. Every family faces adversity, my family is no different. Through adversity comes change, and in our family, a tradition was started. I want to share that tradition with you.

Just Us stopped by the KOOL studio this morning. What a fun visit!!! We talked before they were on the air with me. We caught up on old times, I was in a band with them back in the olden days......the 80's. The funny part was the band got together because Dawn Heine booked a gig and didn't even have a band yet.....enter Kirsten Johnson and myself.

In the category of "news that isn't news at all", Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had their baby daughter over Father's Day weekend, and now tabloid buzz is centered on what "Kimye" decided to call their little bundle of joy.

My son Sam, is named after Sammy Hagar, a small Van Halen reference that I could use, and thanks to my wife, won the first name of Sam. Without being pushed, he has a huge love of music like I do. He loves the Beatles, KISS, Van Halen, Michael Jackson, Led Zepplin, SpongeBob, Yo Gabba Gabba, and the Fresh Beat Band.
