Things are the same, the more they change. At least for Jim Peterik, founder of Survivor, and back with the Ides Of March, where he started. A lot has changed, but one thing that hasn't is a good song.

Jim has had his share of hits. "Eye Of The Tiger", "High On You", "The Search Is Over" among the hits for Survivor, "Vehicle" by the Ides of March, and has co-written songs for 38 Special (Rockin' Into The Night, Hold On Loosely), Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cheap Trick, Sammy Hagar "Heavy Metal", and REO Speedwagon. He is currently fronting the melodic rock band Pride of Lions.

Now you can hear different versions of some of these songs on his latest album "The Songs", which showcase a new look at hit songs.

I talked with Jim about his career and the music coming out now. He was a man with an opinion, which I always enjoy.
