Survey Says Women Don’t Have Enough “Me Time”

In an article I posted last week, I mentioned I enjoy a cup of tea from time to time. I have several favorites, one being Celestial tea. I enjoy their Chai, Sleepytime, and Green Tea. I mention this because Celestial recently hired a marketing firm to poll women thirty five and over as to how much "me time" they have in a day. One of the most popular things to enjoy during "me time" is tea.

According to the report, 42% of women surveyed say they have less than an hour for themselves. Moms have even less. In order to have a little time for themselves, women are becoming creative.Sometimes they escape. The most popular spot to get some "me time" is the bedroom. Some even use the garage, or take a ride in the car.

Two thirds of of the woman surveys say they would rather go without sex, than "me time." 75% have fibbed a little in order to have more time. The two biggest are not feeling well, and a prior commitment.

With all the demands placed on women today, I wonder how they hold it all together. I find the survey very interesting, yet I can't seem to come up with an answer to help them, other than, do what you can, the rest will keep for another time. Have a cup of tea, relax and let the work go for awhile...you deserve it.
