Surface Repairs To Close Highway 169 Ramps September 16 & 17; Work To Affect Hibbing-Area Roadway

Drivers who find themselves on the Iron Range the next few days will want to know about a temporary ramp closure that could affect their route.

Crews with the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be resurfacing the entrance and exit ramp on Highway 169 in Hibbing at First Avenue.  The work is important to further assure the future condition of the road.

The ramps will remain closed for a few hours while the new overlay material dries.

The exact time for these closures hasn't been determined and a lot of it depends upon the weather.  However, the closures will happen between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
