A popular destination will see limited access starting Sunday, June 30th.  That's when crews will begin nighttime work at the Superior landfill on Moccasin Mike Road.

Workers will haul more than 60,000 cubic yards of fill from one site to another on the road, with an increased number of trucks operating at night.  City officials suggest that this shouldn't be a problem as there is a vehicular curfew on Wisconsin Point of 11PM anyway.

Daytime travelers to Wisconsin Point can also expect to see workmen - but at lower levels.  Still, drivers are forewarned to be alert for flagmen and moving dump trucks.

The project is expected to wrap up before the July 4th holiday.
