National Crime Victims’ Rights Weeks is recognized during April 6-12, 2014. The Douglas County District Attorney’s Office is hosting a poster contest open to Douglas County residents of all ages. Six winning posters will be turned into outdoor billboards that will be displayed during the month of April.

Poster ideas include: Restoring the balance of justice for victims of: School Violence, Teen Dating Violence, Cyber Crimes, Theft/Robbery, Identity Theft, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse/Neglect, Physical Assault, Sexual Assault, Human Trafficking, Homicide, etc.

Posters should be mailed or hand delivered to:  Douglas County District Attorney’s Office,  1313 Belknap St. Room 201, Superior, WI 54880.

The artist’s name, age and parent(s) name if a minor, address, email address (if available) and phone number must be written on back of the poster. Posters that do not include this information will not be eligible for the contest.
