Sometimes the little things can make the biggest difference!  As the season changes, Northlanders know that area shelters can be taxed this time of the year.  In an effort to re-stock the shelves with much-needed supplies, a local financial institution has stepped up to help.

Now through September 29, Superior Choice Credit Union will be hosting an emergency supplies drive at all six branches - with a specific destination for the supplies from each location.

The Tower Avenue and Shoreline branches will be donating the supplies they raise to Harbor House Crisis Shelters in Superior.  Meanwhile, the Duluth Denfeld and Hermantown branches will be sending their donations along to CHUM Emergency Shelter and Housing Services.  Finally, the supplies that are collected at the Ashland and Mellen locations will provide relief at the New Day Shelter in Ashland.

Each of the six branches of SCCU will feature donation boxes and wish lists.  There is also a list and details available online at superiorchoice.com/blog.
