October 4, 2012 3:24 PM On this day in 1969…Crosby, Stills & Nash released the single “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” written by Stephen Stills for his girlfriend of two years, singer Judy Collins, who was leaving him for actor Stacy Keach. My only question is why would she leave a singer songwriter for an actor? Isn’t that sort of like exchanging a brown pair of loafers for tan ones because you don’t like the color?
