Never one to shy away from publicity, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is shilling Burger King’s Crispy Chicken Strips in a commercial that sees Tyler working the drive-through, cavorting with customers and employees, playing a little harmonica, and basically taking over the joint.
Now before you start yelling at your TV, remember that a lot of celebrities have been featured in ads — and this one is done with a decided sense of humor.
Speaking with AdAge, Alex Macedo, Burger King’s Senior VP of Marketing, said the whole concept behind the spot was to “get people’s attention faster and to show the diversity that we have with our brand” — something many would say Steven has done with Brand Tyler.
