Steven Tyler's distinctive features have long made him a favorite target for caricature artists, but it took the TV Land series 'Hot in Cleveland' to turn the Aerosmith singer into a cartoon genie.

Tyler appeared on the July 30 episode of the show, which found series regulars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves, and Betty White entering a surreal animated world where a visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame leads them to discover Tyler locked in the trunk of Janis Joplin's car. After being freed, Tyler grants the ladies three wishes, triggering sequences inspired by 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,' 'The Walking Dead,' and 'The Wizard of Oz.'

Although this is the first time a TV show has given Tyler magic powers, it isn't his first foray into animation. Aerosmith made an appearance during the third season of 'The Simpsons,' performing in the classic 'Flaming Moe's' episode, and Tyler has done voice work on a couple of occasions, playing a talking caterpillar in the 2013 animated film 'Epic,' as well as handling a pair of roles in 2004's 'The Polar Express.' Meanwhile, Bertinelli -- who is, after all, Eddie Van Halen's ex-wife -- is probably used to this whole rock star thing by now, too.
