The latest Steve Jobs-designed product is sleek, minimalistic and fast, but it isn’t an iPad or iPhone — it’s the late Apple co-founder’s yacht.

The Daily reports the first photos have emerged of the luxury boat commissioned by Jobs, dubbed “Venus” after the Roman goddess of love and beauty, and there is little doubt that the notoriously hands-on Jobs dictated its design. The ship’s interior, reportedly designed by Philippe Starck, boasts seven 27-inch iMacs in the wheelhouse.

Dutch shipbuilder Feadship crafted the boat, and yesterday Jobs’ widow Laurene was on hand to see it launched in the Dutch city of Aalsmeer.

In his biography of Jobs, Walter Isaacson wrote that the Apple genius found the process of designing the ship life-affirming.

“I have to keep going on it. If I don’t, it’s an admission that I’m about to die,” Jobs told Isaacson.
