Involving more than 300 law enforcement agencies this crackdown runs from April 11 to 17. Laws have been effect for many years with all federal and state employees. It is illegal for drivers to read compose send text messages and emails, or use the Internet using a wireless device while the vehicle is in motion or a part of traffic this is including stopped in traffic or at a traffic light.

Here is a big one that I could not agree more with. Cell phone use is totally banned for teen drivers during their permit and provisional license stages.
