Stamp Out Hunger Event Happens Saturday In Duluth And Superior

Local letter carriers with the United States Postal Service and members of the Salvation Army will be collecting food donations at mailboxes this Saturday (May 13) - marking 25 years for the event.  The event will happen on both sides of the bridge.

Residents are asked to leave a food donation at their mailbox for someone to collect.  Officials suggest non-perishable food items and offer a reminder that items with expired dates will have to be thrown out and not passed along to those in need.

Along with the food donations at the mailboxes, there is another way to get involved;  the Salvation Army is still looking for volunteers to help collect the food items.  Click here to sign up.
