St. Louis County Seeks Foster Home Parents; Open House Event Scheduled For August 11

Have you ever considered becoming a foster parent?  Officials with St. Louis County are looking for applicants to the program and they're holding an Open House Event to let interested parties learn more.

The event will take place on Thursday, August 11 from Noon to 3:00 PM in the Government Services Center Building:  320 West 2nd Street in Duluth.  This is a great opportunity for prospective candidates to learn more about what it takes to be a foster parent - by having your questions answered by county social workers.  Foster home licensors will be on hand for discussion as well.  There is no formal presentation planned.

Like many counties, St. Louis County is always in need of temporary foster homes along with short-term/emergency homes and foster/adoption homes.
