This could be your lucky year!  If you've been in the market for property to buy - and at a great deal, St. Louis County has your opportunity on Thursday, February 9.  More than 100 tax-forfeited properties will hit the auction block for sale to the highest bidder.

This sale is the largest in decades, with a wide-variety of residential, commercial, recreational, and waterfront properties up for grabs.  To see a catalog with photos, maps, and complete details, click here.

It's worth noting that there is a change in policy that could affect some potential bidders.  New to 2017 is a requirement that anyone bidding or purchasing at the auction can not have any delinquent property taxes on parcels that they already own in St. Louis County.

This auction is the first of three to be held in 2017.  Two more tax-forfeited land auctions will happen in June and October.

The auction will happen at the Public Safety Building:  2030 North Arlington Avenue in Duluth starting at 10:00 AM.
