St. Louis County Debuts New Bridge On Highway 5
As the summer road construction season gets ready to wrap up, officials with St. Louis County can look back at a busy and productive year. One of the projects that was worked on this summer now has a very-visible payoff – as the new bridge on Highway 5 over the Bear River has opened to traffic.
The bridge work cost $2 million. The new concrete span is longer than the bridge it replaced and also boasts additional attention to the soil erosion that are prevalent in the area.
