March 11 (Tuesday) the City of Duluth starts another snow removal project and this means you will have to move your car from the designated areas. So here is a list of areas targeted by the city.

The City of Duluth Maintenance crews will work along 1st Street between 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM then focus on clearing Woodland Ave, 24th Ave East, 21st Ave East, and the remainder of 4th Street between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Then, on Wednesday, March 12, snow removal will take place along Michigan Street from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM with the possibility of returning to unfinished areas along 21st Ave East after the morning rush hour.

Thursday, March 13, crews will be working around the hospital districts from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM and then shift attention to 9th Street after 7:00 AM. Progress is dependent on good weather conditions.

Residents are also asked to abide by no parking signs to avoid ticketing. Unmoved cars risk being ticketed by Duluth Police.

With the warm weather this may be a daunting project. Please be mindful of the workers doing their best to make the streets safer trying to clear the snow closer to the curbs. You may have to take an alternate route to work.
