Sister Recounts Steve Jobs Final Moments
For Apple fans we all knew it was coming, but still a shock when it happened. So many questions left unanswered. I thought you might like this .
“Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow.”
Those were the final words of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs before his death, said his sister, Mona Simpson, in a eulogy posted by The New York Times.
Simpson delivered the eulogy for Jobs during a memorial service on Oct. 16 at the Memorial Church of Stanford University.
“Even as a feminist, my whole life I’d been waiting for a man to love, who could love me. For decades, I’d thought that man would be my father,” said Simpson. “When I was 25, I met that man and he was my brother.”
Simpson, who works as a novelist and professor at UCLA, remembers Jobs as “humble” and passionate about his family and work.
