I am cooking up a meal for my Aunt Lynn to give her a break from cooking for herself and showing how fast and easy Blue Apron can help you make a good sized meal for your family and keep it healthy without having to spend a lot of time doing it. Tonight I made Chicken Parmesan.
Bruce Kraig is a well known food historian. That isn't important to me, what is important is Bruce knows a lot about Hot Dogs, one of my favorite foods. When I saw he wrote a book on hot dogs, I wanted to find out more.
I sit down with my son Sam and help him with homework from time to time. By help, I mean I will explain what he needs to do to figure out an answer or check his work when he can't get the right answer. Like me, he has trouble with math. This particular day, I discovered he had surpassed me in the brains department.
KISS spent 9 days in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Cafe and filmed all the shows, then put together the best performances and released it for a one time showing nationally, May 25th. How do you get tickets, they are selling them online and you can see the performance/film in Duluth.
After leading the nation in home runs and getting national player of the week honors, Alex Wojciechowski from UMD is up for the national player of the year. The Coon Rapids native has posted his best year statistically.
I ordered a pair of powered speakers and they came in to work. I took them out and made sure they worked. When I clean out the boxes of packing material, I realized, I might be able to bring U2 to Duluth, just by ordering them over the internet.
During training for Grandma's Marathon, or for any race, what are the rules for hydration? (That's making sure you drink something). Carrie talks to Dr. Angie Voight about how much to drink, and what things to drink to help your race and workout.
Talked to Daryl this morning about Lily. She is a Beagle, not like Snoopy. She won't complain to you while sleeping on her dog house. She doesn't have a bird for a best friend, BUT, she will give you love and just asks to be home with you in a safe place.
Bob Matson was our guest this morning. He has spent many years working in television and radio as an executive and on-air personality and a station manager. He hosted The Bear Facts radio show, when he was the executive director of the North American Bear Center. His love and passion is boats.
This year the drive is this Saturday May 13, 2016 and it's easy to take part. Some people will get Super One bags in the mail, some may have to just use your own. Fill it with non-perishable food items and leave it on your porch or front door and the letter carrier will pick it up. One thing that I ask is that you fill it with relevant food, not your left over beans or pumpkin pie filling. Imagine if you got that bag of food, what could you use to feed your family.
