Coming up on Wednesday June 19th, another chance to see if you are sitting on a gold mine. Maybe something you got handed down to you or bought at a flea market might rake in some big bucks. Halo Muzik has released his new song and video, and is gearing up for Northland Summer Jam. He was recently featured on a new show on our sister station Mix 108, and continues to work to put his name in the public.
New technology is out that could make you disappear. Scientists have been working on this for a while and I mentioned on the radio that they have made it come to fruition. Well, I watched the video and I'm not sure if it is real or if they are just using a screen to mask what is going on.
There hasn't been a Boxing match at Proctor High School in 50 years, to honor Carl "Cud" Peterson, there will be charity matches in the Gym. What is your dog thinking? Would you really want to know? I know our dog Maddie would have some stupid thoughts. She likes to river dance to wake me up. She also yawns and puffs at me when she wants to be fed or go out.
How many times have you been on a plane and it had to wait. Most of the time a plane waits to take off, and 20 minutes is an average time during busy flight times. What if you were on a plane then was put on another plane, and you still had to wait 3 hours between both.
Regina Lyalls talked this morning about the Bike MS: C.H. Robinson MS 150 Ride 2013 in Proctor. Regina was diagnosed a couple of years ago with MS on the day of one of the rides, so this has become personal as well as taking on a new meaning for finding a cure.
Trish Staine, 33, of Duluth got the biggest surprise early this week. Having not gained any weight and her cycle never changed, she knew she was uncomfortable and having back pain. Having a baby, nope! She continued to training, after all, she's not pregnant, in fact, that was the last thing she thought.
Elizabeth Chan was on FAILURE CLUB, a show about New Yorkers who were trying to live their dream. Liz's dream was to write a famous Christmas Song. I watched the show and saw her struggle and also liked her music and then was lucky enough to feature it. Now, she is continuing her struggle and dream. Here's my follow up, for those of you that wondered, what happened to?
