Let's go back to the original night, at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn., where Fairfield was playing Loyola of Maryland. John Queenan won the opportunity to sink a half-court shot for a free car from the Tri-State Chevy dealers. After hearing that he may have stepped over the line, the insurance company said they wanted to review the footage and make a ruling.

Sometimes that can take forever, and leaves a bad taste in the mouth of everyone because of the excitement of seeing the man sink the ball, not to mention the person who shot it. The Tri-Chevy dealers stepped up and said it doesn't matter what the insurance company thought, they awarded the car.

According to Jay Busbee from the Dagger on Yahoo! "It was the right thing to do," said Leo Karl, president of Karl Chevrolet in New Canaan. "We decided to award him the car regardless of what the insurance company does."

So Queenan is the happy owner of a new Cruze, and can't say enough about the whole experience.
